Which English covers have vocals?

How this is measured. Start from the CrossClear master list and keep the songs marked language: en. Each one is asked for its vocal track at /admin/api/cross-clear/migration/songs/{id}/audio: if it returns the wav, it plays; if it returns a 404, it doesn't. Failures are retried a second time before being written off.

The four states. Plays: the vocal wav is in our S3 and the endpoint serves it. Silent: mirroredFullSong: true claims it was copied, but the file isn't there — the flag lies, which is why checking the record isn't enough. Never mirrored: the vendor has the vocals (fullSong: true) and the mirror never fetched them; re-running the copy fixes it. Karaoke only: Sybersound has no vocals for that song, so there is nothing to recover — expected, not a defect.

Durations are approximate, derived from the wav's file size assuming 44.1 kHz / 16-bit / stereo. Good enough to spot absurdly short or long files, not an exact figure.

The stars come from track.coverReview on the covers that already have a record. Only covers that play can be rated, since they are the only ones anyone can judge.

What was set aside. 703 entries are kept in the data but left out of the list: 651 with no real artist (nursery rhymes, gospel, hymns and standards filed under Various — …), 45 that have no track record yet, 5 whose licence was withdrawn, and 2 medleys. Nothing was deleted — the rule is in the data file and can be reversed.

Where they're used. Built by walking the 44 configs marked live (out of 320) down to their lessons. A cover counts as used if a non-archived lesson points at it; the 5,011 archived lessons are ignored. Two of those live configs are a QA bench and a working copy, so they are shown last and marked — they are not real content, and the headline figure leaves them out.
